Providence Health & Services Physical Therapist-Acute Regional Float in Portland, Oregon
Providence is calling a Physical Therapist to Providence Marger Building in Portland, OR.
This position is a full-time inpatient regional float physical therapist role for the Portland and surrounding suburbs including Mt. Angel, Oregon. The PT in this position will primarily provide inpatient/acute and skilled nursing coverage to the five Providence hospitals in the Portland Metro Area and the one Providence skilled nursing facility (SNF) in Mt. Angel – these include: Providence Portland, Providence St. Vincent’s, Providence Milwaukie, Providence Willamette Falls, Providence Newberg, and Providence Benedictine Nursing Center (SNF). In addition, the requirements for this role include travel flexibility in between these six locations.
This position does pay a premium rate.

In this position, you will:
Manage and provide skilled physical therapy to patients/clients with a wide variety of diagnoses and disabilities, taking into account individual patient's special physical or age-related needs.
Have skills in patient/client evaluation and treatment, as well as professional consultations to achieve maximum patient/client independence in accordance with individual's functional level and potential.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's, master's, or doctorate degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Program
Current Physical Therapy licensure through the State of Oregon, -or-
Temporary license if new graduate awaiting licensing exam results
American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA-BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification -or- Cardiopulmonary resuscitation/automated external defibrillator (CPR/AED) for medical professionals within 30 days of hire
Ability to travel between sites in a timely manner as assigned
Occasionally a position will require specialized physical therapy training or experience to meet a particular department need
